Time Gadget v0.07 Beta International character problems

Testing TimeGadget v0.07 beta on Windows XP x64, IE 7 (32 bit):

There are several problems with international character display in this version of TimeGadget. Either it is problem of browser when it does not know wich encoding to use or the characters in the HTML source are already damaged, and as the result, characters are displayed incorrectly.

  • MAIN SCREEN
    1. PREVIOUS ENTRY: application does not honor the multicharacher encoding of UTF-8 and some time breake such simbols in several parts (when shortening Activity information), and in that case it is displayed incorrectly;
    2. CREATE AN ENTRY: Activities in the pull-down menu are correctly encoded as UTF-8, but, as the page has no mark-up for encoding (the gadget page), it is displayed incorrectly.
  • VIEW : EDIT AN ENTRY
    • There is the problem, that multi-byte characters are already damaged by encoding some part of these characters as html entities, so both Activity in the pull-down menu and the text in the text area is unreadable in this page.

Expected scenario is that utf-8 characters would be displayed correctly in any situation.

Good Luck resolving.
