0) Confirm that your version is 1.x (just to make sure!)
1) What timezone are you operating in?
2) What operating system are you using?
3) What browser are you using?
If you could do me the favour and check to see if the same thing happens when you load your google homepage on a different computer? Preferably which has a different browser, and different operating system. (e.g. if you're using opera, use firefox - and if for example you're using a mac, could you try it on a windows system?)
