Because updating make the lost of all datas, it would be nice to be able to import datas as we export it.
Also, using this function it would be possible to archive entire work period.
Could you clarify how updating loses the data? I don't understand exactly what you're updating, and what data gets lost.
Where would you be importing data from? TimeGadget?
Lastly, I don't understand why you would need an archiving feature? (Since TimeGadget allows you to restrict your results using the reporting criteria.)
I'm interested to know more about how you would like to use TimeGadget.
